My priorities

I am committed to listening to Aylesbury constituency residents and understanding your feedback and ideas. Since being elected, I have held regular advice surgeries and "meet and greet" events. I have processed thousands of enquiries and attended hundreds of constituency meetings and visits. This engagement helps inform the work I am doing in Parliament to help deliver change to Aylesbury and the villages. Here are just a few of the issues that I have prioritised:

1. Better Infrastructure

I’m pushing to deliver the Eastern Link Road, secure investment for a rail link to Milton Keynes, and ensure funding for pothole repairs to improve our roads. I also support strong housing provision—but only when it comes with the right infrastructure, including roads, schools, GP surgeries, and community services.

2. Better Healthcare (including Maternal Mental Health)

I’m determined to get NHS waiting lists down and make GP and hospital services more accessible. That’s why I am campaigning for a new neighbourhood health centre in Aylesbury to bring together GP, community, and mental health services under one roof, making care easier to access for local residents. I am also a passionate advocate for maternal mental health, an issue that is personal to me after losing one of my best friends Sophie following childbirth. I will keep campaigning to expand specialist perinatal services, embed mental health checks into routine maternity care, and ensure every new parent has the support they need.

3. Better Opportunities for Young People (including SEND)

From supporting the expansion of free breakfast clubs in local schools to launching “Your Voice, Your Future” — a work experience programme for 16- to 18-year-olds — I want the best for young people across our constituency. I’m also determined to fix our broken SEND system so that every child with special educational needs receives the support they deserve.

4. A Strong International Role for the UK

Before entering Parliament, I worked in the charity sector supporting people caught up in conflict and crisis. I continue to campaign for the UK to play an active role in responding to humanitarian emergencies around the world, from Gaza to Sudan, ensuring our country stands up for those most in need and supports peace, stability and human dignity.
