The Council have now opened up the draft Plan for public comments. The consultation will close on 6th September 2026.
This allows you to have your say before the Plan is examined by an Independent Planning Inspector.
I’m doing all I can to challenge the scale of development here in proportion to the rest of Buckinghamshire, but every voice is going to matter.
The Inspector is not deciding whether Buckinghamshire needs more homes overall. Instead, they will consider whether the Council has done their due diligence in choosing which sites to build on.

Scroll down to the section of the Plan where your town or village is mentioned, and click on the relevant ‘comment’ button when you find a point you want to respond to.
Comments are likely to be most effective when they focus on local experience and are supported by evidence.
You may wish to comment on:
• traffic and road capacity
• healthcare, schools and other infrastructure
• flooding and drainage
• environmental impacts, biodiversity, green spaces
• heritage and landscape
• whether reasonable alternative sites have been properly considered
